I Feel Loved

Officially this was my fifth Mothers Day but it was the first time I really enjoyed it as a Mom. Up until now, I've always spent Mothers Day trying to quiet a baby or calm a cranky toddler. But this year, well, it was great.

I woke up to Max's sweet little voice, "Happy Mudders Day Mommy!" Then he broke into a rousing rendition of the Happy Birthday song. He sings that song all the time, especially for special occasions. Any special occasion will do and this one seemed to fit really well for him because he sang it all day long.

Luke climbed in the bed for a snuggle which is one of my favorite things to do. He then proceeded with the hugs and kisses that lasted all day long.

That was pretty much the whole day. I know homemade gifts and burnt breakfast in bed will come later. For now, this was the best Mothers Day for me. I feel like if I were a bunny, all of my fur would have been rubbed off. I wouldn't have it any other way. Furless, but well loved.
